It's not just peace and quiet that can be experienced here at Furuholmen. Sometimes you want a little more action and fun too. Most of the activities we offer here at Furuholmen take place in the summer, but some also take place in the winter. What if you got out on the water? Yes, there's something special about that. We're going to offer canoe rental here at Furuholmen. This will give you a different kind of freedom. You can paddle out to one of the islands, or how about exploring something a little further away? There are plenty of nice coves to swim from too, so a dip in summer-warm water from an island or islet you've found all to yourself...

Boat rental at Furuholmen

  • Motorboat, 14 ft. aluminum boat, with 9.8hp outboard engineNOK 690,- per day

    When renting a motorboat for more than 5 days, NOK 590,- per day

  • Full tank of gasoline - 12 litersKr 360,-

    More expensive gasoline, NOK 30,- per liter

Utleie av kano og kajakk

We have canoes and kayaks for hire so you can paddle out to one of the islands or discover the Glomma on your own.

Price:

Per day: 300,-
Per hour: 100,-

Depositum for kano/kajakk – kr 2000,-
Kun kontant depositum!

Hammock

If you want a quieter trip, we have hammocks for hire. There are many nice walks you can take around Furuholmen and with a hammock, the picnic area becomes even more idyllic.

Price:

Per day: 150,-
Weekend: 290,- (Friday 12pm - Sunday 11am)

Fishing

When summer has set in and the heat once again spreads over the idyll here at Furuholmen, it's the water that beckons. The area is known for its many good fishing spots, so you can take long or short walks to find "your" own peaceful cove with your fishing rod. 

Build a small fire on the shore and enjoy freshly caught fish. Could it get any better? Fishing from a canoe is also great. In this part of the Glomma river, you can catch a wide variety of fish. The most common are: Perch, Mud, Pike, Trout, Grayling and Salmon have also been caught in this part of the watercourse.
